Crystal & Jarvis

From CISMO to here! In 2008 at Florida A&M University Crystal joined a mentoring program, Computer Information Systems Mentoring Organization (CISMO). Jarvis had already been apart of the organization serving as the Director of Social Events. How fitting! She was assigned a mentor who was no one other than Jarvis Dennison. She didn’t know until a few years ago that his exact words was “I want the cheerleader!” From 2008 to 2013 there was a friendship/mentorship like no other! Shooting Pool, Moon walking, Jarvis taught Crystal how to drink a beer without a straw and much much more. Oh, there was some coding work involved here and there. In 2013 Jarvis invited Crystal to his hometown, Mobile, AL, to attend a Omega Ball for his Chapter. From this trip their love story began….
