When a Swipe Changed Everything
It all started with a swipe… and the rest, as they say, is history. Who knew that a simple “match” on Tinder would lead us here, to forever? From our very first conversation, the connection was undeniable, and it wasn’t long before sparks turned into something much deeper.

"A Woman and Her Bonnet"
August 2019…it’s a match! Our first date still proves to be one of the funniest moments in our entire relationship - and it could’ve been a total disaster. As we joke, either one of us could’ve been a "stone-cold killa," setting the other up for what we call "the okie doke." But instead, it became the beginning of something extraordinary. Tim arrived early for the first date, a night that included dinner and a comedy show. Tiff was still at work and hated the thought of him waiting in his car for an hour, so she took a leap of faith and invited him over to her place while she got ready. Yes, that’s right—their first meeting involved Tim sitting on the edge of Tiff’s bathtub, sipping a drink she’d made, and watching her finish her makeup (bonnet and all). And contrary to what Tim says - Tiff did NOT put roots on him with that drink! In those first 15 minutes, the connection was undeniable. We felt completely comfortable, as if we’d known each other forever.

"Keeping It Casual... or So We Thought"
At first, we both told ourselves we’d keep things light and casual. Neither of us were looking for anything serious at the time. Tiff had just moved to California from Texas to start a new job and Tim was busy navigating life as a single co-parent. But within two months, we knew—this was different. By the time the pandemic hit in March 2020, our relationship had gone from casual hangouts to practically living together as the world shut down. Spending so much uninterrupted time together made it clear: we had something truly special. All this time together and we’re not getting on each other’s nerves…only one thing to do - Lock. It. Down! Communication? On point. Chemistry? Through the roof. Future? In sight.

Though Tim was born and raised in New Orleans and Tiff’s a Houston diva through and through, it took moving to California to find each other. Over the past 6 years, we’ve built a life filled with laughter, love, and the kind of joy that only grows stronger with time.
