Sister of the Bride
Hello Everyone! My name is Autumn and I’ll be serving as the Maid of Honor. I currently reside in Southeast Texas and am the mom to the Junior Bridesmaid, Sevyn. A little background: I met Olivia when I was just 7 years old at a hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the cutest little thing and I remember being so frustrated because I was the last to hold her. But from that moment, she became my first living baby doll. We grew up sharing the best of times, memories and even parents…well…because she’s my baby sister 🙂 I’m so excited for this union and couldn’t be happier for the couple of the hour.
Cousin of the Groom
I am honored to be Tony’s best man. Although Tony and I are first cousins, he has always treated me like his little brother. Our brotherly bond started during our childhood vacations together. I was much younger than Tony, my brother, my sister, and our other cousins, often seen as a pest by them. But Tony always protected me and included me in whatever the teenagers were doing. He even gave me the nickname “Champ” to boost my confidence!
Tony has always exuded confidence, even when he didn’t know how to do something (like Algebra, but I’ll save that story for the wedding). Little did we know that our bond would grow even stronger as we both became IU alums—go Hoosiers! Yes, I followed in his footsteps.
Â
Olivia, I am so happy that you came into Tony’s life and that you two are sharing love and life together.
Â
Your big little brother!
God Sister of the Bride
Our journey started before we were born when our mothers met at church while pregnant with us. We have countless shared memories, from getting our diapers changed to collecting coins from mall fountains after jumping in. We once dreamed of becoming a famous girl band, oh the memories…creating bracelets, swimming at Kings Island, Christmas caroling, and experiencing unforgettable moments together. Through first dates, heartbreaks, graduations, college, and hosting events, we have been by each other’s side. Our journey has been filled with endless memories and milestones. We have shared it all. Watching Olivia grow into the beautiful woman she is today has been truly inspiring. Her contagious smile and charisma light up any room, and she is a true boss! She has the best heart and always shows up for her people. Olivia means so much to me and I know without a doubt she will be the most incredible wife!!! I am honored stand by her side as she marries the love of her life. Here’s to more adventures and endless laughter — can’t wait to see you become Mrs. Hollis. Love you!
Brother of the Groom
Hello, I’m Andre Hollis, Tony’s older brother who’s often behind the camera as a sports photographer. I’m glad to be part of this journey with my little brother.
God Sister of the Bride
I am Kayla, the bride-to-be’s godsister and lifelong best friend. Olivia and I have been inseparable since I was just 3 weeks old. Our bond has been unbreakable as we navigated through life’s adventures together. From cherished church memories and camping trips to sharing many “firsts” and traveling to NC for Thanksgiving (remember those hot guys, haha), we have supported each other through heartbreaks, apartment clean-outs (yes, even down to the seasonings, lol), and so much more. Our connection is truly special to me. Olivia is the one person who understands that we will always be there for each other, no matter what. I am deeply thankful that we have each other and cherish the bond we share. I love you dearly, and I am thrilled to be part of your big day.
Cousin of the Groom
I am Cameron Clancy, Tony’s older cousin. I was born in Fort Wayne, IN and raised in Raleigh, NC. I currently reside in DFW with my wife of 20 years and two sons. Despite always living multiple states apart, Tony and I as well as the family have always remained close. It is a honor to be a part of such a wonderful occasion.
Best Friend of the Bride
My name is Rahiel Michael, and I’m an avid lover of books, plays, travel, sports, and all things Cincinnati. I currently serve as Senior Vice President of External Affairs at the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority, a real estate and economic development agency. Prior to joining The Port, I held various positions in the government sector. My passion for politics and public service guided me from an early age. It led me to Xavier University, where I first met my best friend, Olivia Carter. Whether it was using Olivia and Fana’s dining dollars to eat buffalo-drenched chicken tenders at the Gallagher Student Center, dressing up in ridiculous Halloween outfits and snacking on chicken wings while waiting in line to get into Celebrities (to this day, I have no clue whose wings we were eating), attending epic kickbacks at the funeral home, cheering on the Musketeers at the Cintas Center, knocking back Herschels at Dana Gardens, struggling through fireball shots at Holy Grail, bowling (terribly, I might add!) at Stone Lanes, or late night cramming sessions at the library, we quickly became inseparable friends. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I had met my soul sister for life at Xavier.
Best Friend of the Groom
My name is Blair Coats, but my friends and family know me as “Whesley,” my middle name. I am originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana and now live in Fishers, Indiana. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and an MBA. Currently, I work as the Director of Procurement at Eli Lilly. I am married and have two daughters aged 6 and 2. Tony and I first met in high school through a medical science program and hit it off right away – real recognize real! LOL We kept crossing paths in college and eventually decided to start hanging out. After college, we became very close friends and have been big supporters of each other over the last 15+ years, key motivators for one another as we work to achieve our personal goals. Tony is not only the godfather of my eldest daughter but also my best friend. WE BOYS FOR LIFE!
Best Friend of the Bride
Olivia has been my partner in crime since ’09. We met freshman year at Xavier University and became instant besties. Many of my best memories are with Olivia. From our 3-year stint as roomies to our spontaneous trips exploring different cities, the adventures of Fanta and Livy are endless. Our friendship, which has grown into a sisterhood, is one that I deeply cherish and am forever grateful for. Olivia is one of the kindest, most genuine people I have been blessed to know and love. I am overjoyed to stand by her side on her big day and celebrate the union of these two beautiful souls.
Niece of the Bride
Hi, my name is Sevyn but some people call me Sophy. I’m the Junior Bridesmaid and I’m in 5th grade. Olivia is my aunt, better known as Auntie Livy. Ever since I was little I’ve always looked up to her because she has the best fashion and I like her perfume. I am very happy to be in this wedding because I can’t wait to dress up and see Auntie Livy and Uncle Tony in their outfits. I think Auntie Livy is going to be the prettiest bride. My favorite memory of Auntie Livy is when she got me my first fingernails for Christmas. I always wear them and sometimes they look like hers. I also remember when her and Uncle Tony came to my track meet and I got 1st place! We also both have the same favorite pet, Pandora.
Best Friend of the Groom
My name is Jerry Starks, the self-proclaimed biggest, baddest, and smartest real estate entrepreneur around. Or so I thought until I got a call from Sherman (Petey) Griggs, Tony’s brother-in-law. Petey introduced me to Tony, who was looking to buy real estate. From our first conversation, I knew Tony was sharp. People say I’m egotistical, but I call it confidence. Talking to Tony, I realized his intellect, swag, and ambition might even surpass mine. We often discussed business and one day I said Tony, what you have that I don’t, is that you can tell someone that they’re not very smart without using that particular word, and we would joke and laugh about he would use that tactic, not just on subordinates but even to those in a position of authority. Tony and I always had a dream that’s still in the works of coming together and taking over the world like Pinky and the brain, But Tony ventured away from that to find something more precious. I admire how he found the love of his life, and commend him on his marriage and so happy that I can be apart of this joy. I’m very lucky to have met a gentleman like Tony and witness him go from joy to great joy when he found his wife. So the moral of the story is that no matter how smart you are, you can find someone smarter and wiser. Until this day we still argue about who got the best of the deal. I believe he did, he believes that I did, but what we both agree on is that the house the bank talked him out of buying is the best house in the whole portfolio. And for that Tony I thank you, and for leaving me that house I am able to save for your wedding and get you and your beautiful wife a lovely gift.
Parents of the Bride
We are Norman and Sandi Carter, the proud parents of Olivia Danielle. We first met our precious Olivia on September 30, 1991. The name Olivia means peace, abundance, and spiritual resilience. It perfectly captures her essence. She has faced life with grace, intention, and a knack for prosperity and has emerged stronger than ever, just like the olive tree. From the start, she was a quiet, thoughtful child with a deep faith in God and a strong commitment to family and education. She never followed the crowd but stood back and watched, always with a spark in her eyes, as if she knew that someday, she would lead the way. During her academic years, Olivia loved entering competitions, confident she would win something, and for the most part, she did. Over the years, her dad and I have watched our determined, shy little girl blossom into the remarkable woman she is today. Most importantly, she has won the greatest prize of all, Tony. We are proud to call you our son-in-law.
Parents of the Groom

Aunt (That’s more like a mom) of the groom
Hello all – I am Flora, the proud aunt of Tony. As Tony’s aunt, I have had the privilege of seeing him grow into the incredible man he is today. From his childhood adventures to his milestones in life, I have witnessed his journey with love, pride, and unwavering support. We have spent countless hours traveling together and talking on the phone. Tony and I grew even closer as we cared for his mother, Denise, during her illness. Tony was super excited when he found Olivia. As the Bible says, “He who finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the Lord”. Oh, did Tony find a good thing and favor! I am thrilled to be a part of this special celebration of love and union between Tony and Olivia. Their love story is a beautiful testament to the power of love, and I am honored to share in their joy as they begin this new chapter together. I look forward to being a part of their journey as they embark on the wonderful adventure of marriage, and I can’t wait to see the love, happiness, and beautiful memories they will continue to create together. Olivia, thanks for coming into Tony’s life (an answered prayer). I love you already because I see the love that you have for Tony. Cheers to the happy couple!
