Our love story began in April 2015 all thanks to Concord Church in Dallas, Texas. While participating in a Beaux & Debutante ball we formed a friendship that neither of us could have imagined would turn into forever. Between conversations about fashion, music, and life, Courtland told Mia, “we are going to get married one day.” God made sure Courtland was a man of his word.

After years of no contact and short conversations via social media, Mia and Courtland reconnected at the beginning of 2023. Courtland recovered an old photo of them at the ball from years before and sent it to Mia. Although Courtland slid into Mia’s DMs first, Courtland will always say Mia shot her shot at him first because she asked him, “so why aren’t you married with kids yet?”.

That day forward they became inseparable. Not even long distance, death of family members, law school, or career transitions could separate what God had intended for them all along. Between both families becoming one with such ease to becoming absolute best friends, there is no doubt that our love is an art perfectly curated by God Himself. We could not be more grateful to have such loving, caring, and prayerful family and friends navigating life with us. Thank you all for being such a big part of both of our journeys.
