On a late Saturday night, two strangers in different states found themselves swiping on a dating app out of pure boredom. Neither of us was looking for love just passing time. But then we found each other.

From my side, I saw her first standing there in a black dress that made time feel like it stopped. There was something about her confidence, her glow, that pulled me in instantly. I liked her photo, not expecting much, and was actually ready to delete the app.
From her side, she saw someone who caught her attention just enough to pause and see something different, something real in a sea of faces. She wasn’t planning on anything serious either, just scrolling without expectations.

Then we matched.

In that one unexpected moment, what started as boredom turned into curiosity… curiosity into conversation… and conversation into something neither of us saw coming.
