WE SWIPED RIGHT INTO FOREVER

OUR STORY

It all started on Bumble, where I opened with: “Can I follow you home? Because my parents always told me to follow my dreams.” Corey replied, “Lol yeah, if you don’t stalk me.” And that’s where our story began.

I’ll admit it—Corey was my third date lined up for the week, but the baseball game ended up being my last first date. I knew he was different when we were walking through Home Depot singing and dancing. That’s where we invented our handshake and I said this is my person.

From there, we became explorers trying new activities, wandering through new cities, and collecting our shared favorites along the way. When Corey made the big move to Tampa, we grew through the transition together, and it brought us closer to the moment that would change everything.

I knew a proposal was coming because Corey had been acting suspicious for weeks. However, I was convinced it would happen at dinner. He was supposed to blindfold me, but nerves got the best of him and he forgot. Honestly, I’m glad he did. I spent the whole day spiraling in excitement, trying to decode every tiny clue. The real surprise was waiting at home: a romantic setup, our immediate families, and one of my best friends.
